The social network Clubhouse introduces the function of direct payments from one user to another. This was reported on the website of the social network.

“Starting today, users will be able to make payments, and we will implement this feature in stages, starting with a small test group. We hope to collect feedback, finalize the feature and implement it soon for everyone, ”the message says.

Clubhouse explained that in order to make a payment in the application, you need to select an author profile that has the ability to transfer funds, click the “Send money” comman

d, and then enter the desired amount. When using the function for the first time, the social network will ask the user for the details of the card from which the charge will be made.

It is also noted that Clubhouse’s partner, the Stripe payment system, will charge a small fee from the sender of the payment. In turn, the social network itself will not receive a percentage of transactions.

“This will be the first of many features to allow users to receive payments directly from Clubhouse,” the post reads.

Clubhouse is a social network where you can communicate in audio chats. Alpha Exploration Co. introduced it in March 2020, and in September it became available in the App Store. For now, Clubhouse is only available on iOS, while the Android app is still in development. There are two ways to get into the application: receive an invitation from someone who already communicates with Clubhouse, or register in it and wait until the queue comes and the platform adds a new user.

In February, Clubhouse became the world’s third most downloaded social app after WhatsApp and Facebook. In Russia, it took second place, ahead of Faccebook. However, interest in the app began to decline in March, research firm AppAnnie reported.
